                            Activity 4, pag 85 and 86 of the
                                           "Coursebook"

A.-) The three people naed in the story are George, Mrs Philpot and Julian
B.-) The day was  hot, cause it was a summer's day. We can know this with this this words:
"I never hought I'd like hot scones on a summer's day, but these look heavenly..."
C.-) I think that Mrs Philpot  has got the food ready cause, apparetly in the moment when the childrens arrived the house, she was doing a tea. Thats made me think that she cook all the food.
D.-) The man sitting in the chair was old man, who had white beard and hair
E.-)  The man think that the childrens said that they were doing too much work
F.-) Julian actually said "Please don't let us make too much work for you!"
G.-) The old man speake fast, but with no sence cause he can't hear well
H.-) The old man means to complain by "Grumble"
I.-) The children's feelings change as they walked into the kitchen, cause they cheered up, as they enter in the cold kitchen
